If you believe that medical negligence caused the trauma, our attorneys can help investigate your claim. Symptoms can vary
Your infant’s cerebral palsy may not be immediately apparent. However, early signs of the disorder usually appear before the child reaches the age of three. The child may suffer muscle tightening and spasms. They may have involuntary hand movements. They may have difficulty learning to write or have trouble swallowing. They may favor one side of the body over the other.
Symptoms such as these vary depending on the extent and location of the damage to the brain. They can even change over time. However, the condition is usually permanent to some degree.
